Add a Restaurant/Bar Menu to Your Website

If you are looking to add a restaurant or bar menu to your website, you have a couple of options.

1. Create a standalone "Menu" page

You can isolate a menu to its own specific page. Creating a menu on a separate page, you can further capitalize on search engine optimization (SEO) to help drive organic traffic to your website.

To create a new menu page, navigate to the Content panel on your site and click the Add New Pages button.

Select the checkbox next to Menu, then click Add.

On this page, you can separate your menu sections (i.e. Lunch, Dinner, Dessert) by creating separate Menu Items content blocks.

To add a new item, to each category, click Add a Menu Item.

When you add a menu item, you have the option to edit the item's name, add a description, denote the price, and add an image.

2. Create a "Menu Items" list on an existing page

If you do not wish to create a separate page for your menu, you can always add one to an existing page. Click the green (+) button to add a new content block. Select Menu items. From here, you can add individual menu items as outlined above.

3. Embed a menu via uploading a PDF

Alternatively, you can create your restaurant menu in a PDF, which you can then upload to your website. Here is how you can add a PDF to your page. This is the best option if you would like a more elaborately-styled menu. You can make menu changes in a separate document that you can easily upload to your website.

Please note: if you are using a third-party accessibility widget, it does not cover any PDFs that you upload. You may need to take extra steps to ensure that your PDFs are ADA compliant.
