Add a Video to Your Website

Add a Video to Your Website

You can add video content to your website by embedding a video that's been uploaded to a third-party site like YouTube or Vimeo. This guide covers both options.

Option 1: Add a Vimeo Video

  1. Navigate to the Vimeo video you want to add to your website.

  2. Click the Share icon below the video player.

  3. In the pop-up window, click the Embed tab, then copy the embed code.

  4. In your SpaceCraft dashboard, go to the CONTENT tab and open the page where you want to add the video.

  5. Click the (+) button at the bottom of the page or between content blocks.

  6. Select Video for a single video or Video Gallery for multiple videos.

  7. Paste the Vimeo embed code into the Embed code field. The video's details will automatically populate in the block.

Add a YouTube Shorts Video

YouTube does not offer an embed link for Shorts videos. However, you can add a Shorts video to a Video block or Video Gallery block with the following workaround:
  1. On the Shorts feed, click the Share button, then copy the URL.
  2. Paste the URL to a separate document. In the URL, remove the word shorts and replace it with the word embed.
    For example: https://youtube.com/shorts/bUmmwj9f56s?si=N_RI6WF49OO5Z2ij
    will become https://youtube.com/embed/bUmmwj9f56s?si=N_RI6WF49OO5Z2ij
  3. Copy the updated URL, then paste it in the Video block or Video Gallery block, as outlined in the steps above.
